Meghan & Harlan’s Microwedding in Clinton, CT

October 25, 2026  — Photographed on Kodak Ektacolor Pro 400 120 & 35mm film

Harlan reached out to me about his and Meghan’s microwedding a few months ago, and between my communications with him and Meghan, I knew immediately I was going to adore this couple! After 12 years together, these self-described “sensitive softies” wanted a small celebration that felt like them, and it couldn't have been more perfect. Their backyard wedding took place at their bungalow in Clinton, CT, surrounded by about 20 of their closest loved ones. Between the perfect fall weather, the cutest little hidden nook in their backyard, and the beautiful fall flowers with pops of maroon against the bright blue sky, everything came together beautifully!

I love watching true love unfold in such an intimate setting, and this day was no exception. Their ceremony was filled with both laughter and tears, moving everyone around them. They both even included quotes from the same story in their vows, which was the cutest thing ever! 🥹💕

After their ceremony, we headed to Clinton Town Beach for portraits by the water, incorporating their shared love of the beach and sea, followed by a lovely lunch at Aqua Seafood in Clinton. Their long awaited union and sweetest personalities made the whole day so special, and I feel incredibly lucky that they found me to capture their special day.

This page is a work-in-progress. The 35mm and 120 film are currently in development. In the meantime, here is a preview of their beautiful day on digital. Can’t wait to see the real magic come to life in the darkroom!
